I designed this pendant flying home from the Winnipeg Folk Fest. I wanted to incorporate the early zoomorphic bird patterns on the Witham shield, an artifact dredged up from the river Witham in Lincolnshire UK in 1826. The pendant design is an abstract pattern of two birds in a triskele (lucky) spiral.
