An Eagle is a symbol of the chief of the heavens. It flies higher than other birds and lives in both heaven and earth. It has been used on crests for families and countries for millennia. Our client in this case wanted us to make a double headed eagle pendant for them in 14K gold. It fits just inside a quarter’s diameter. The double bird head like a Janus sees in both directions, forward and backward, meaning it seeks truth by looking in the past and present.
